Automatic flagpole
Automatic Cone Tapered Aluminum Flagpoles by MADOORS
Automatic flagpoles will raise the flag at daybreak and lower it at sunset. This unique motorized flagpole is controlled by a photocell which enables automatic dusk to dawn operation. When the flag is lowered, it enters the flagpole through a cast aluminum entry. Once inside, the flag is protected from the weather. With the manual override, the flag can be lowered to half staff or stored inside the flagpole during inclement weather. If you have more than one flagpole, we can engineer them to operate simultaneously.

Standard Fittings
The electronic automatic flagpole comes equipped with a specially designed light weight Türkiye flag. These custom flags have a special heading that allows there use with the Automatic flagpole. The flags are attached and replaced through the motor access door. The truck assembly is cast aluminum and welded to the pole top. The halyard is a stainless steel cable and has two delrin flag holders along with two up/down motor stops. The 220 volt motor is mounted inside the lower portion of the pole and there is a large access door for maintenance. All poles are flange mounted and installed on four partially galvanized anchor bolts. Nut covers are provided as well.

A system for controlling the operation of a reversible electric motor employed in raising and lowering a flag in an automatic flagpole, including thermally responsive current-sensing switching devices and an electromagnetic relay means in a circuit with the motor and arranged to reverse the motor's direction in response to a predetermined overloading due to obstruction to the free movement of the flag-carrying halyard driven by the motor and to restart the motor in its original direction of rotation after a predetermined time delay.
